I had an eye appointment today. As we left Dave pointed out that we still have a bit of snow along the east side of our building. We had a late winter this year.
Then we went directly to summer. Here’s today’s current temperature and forecast:

it isn’t called that for nothing. it’s a Pseudo Spring!
we generally always go from winter to summer here. and from summer to winter.
spring and autumn are now usually non existent.
although i distinctly remember that last year here we had a GLORIOUS SPRING!!!
just like other people talk about! we didn’t even have huge tornadoes and all that.
we had actually SPRING! with rain and green and flowers and everything!
we hadn’t had that real spring in YEARS and years!
this year we’ve already had temps in the 90’s. we’re dry again. and this week they’re talking tornado time again. they tested the sirens on Saturday. so… i’d say back to normal.

We’ve had moments of spring between winter and summer but not really weeks or months. We’ll be 78 on Wednesday and 101 on Sunday. Goofy weather every where.
When we lived in Texas spring meant lots of storms. Now it’s spring, we’re just north of Texas and we’re back in spring storms. Things never change.
