As I age my fingers appear to be getting more stupid. This becomes evident as I read my own writings. This leads me to the urge to write this preface to my future blogs:
“There are no errors in this writing. If you find what appears to you to be a mistake in spelling, punctuation, or grammar be assured it was intentionally put there so there is no need to notify the author of your find.”
Of course, if I do that my fingers’ stupidity will stay out there for all the world to continue reading. Is that what they really want? I’d ask them but I don’t trust their answer to make sense.

Linda
Okay. I loved that! My daughter-in-law just added texting to her iPhone. I sent her a text and her reply was “Shaddup”. I asked her if she was telling me to “Shut Up”? You should have heard her apologize! It was the automatic correcting on the phone. I do that often. Also, when correcting one thing, I sometimes don’t read the corrected sentence and many times find lots of words in there that don’t belong.
Very nice. We all need to put a similar preface in ours too.
(I did reread this …. I hope I read the words and not what I thought they should be.)
Linda – great post. I agree with Jeri – we all need to make this our preface. I’ve almost given up trying to figure out what I’ve spelled or typed incorrectly. It’s my blog and I can make it say whatever it says.
Linda – Love it! I agree with my two friends, Sandie and Jeri. I may need to borrow this also. Paul and I both write and read and then reread our post BUT we still miss some very obvious mistakes. Oh well…such is life. Keep up the good work.
