So all week long we add things to our on-line grocery list from whichever internet enabled device happens to be the most handy at the moment.
Then on Monday we close it out and on Tuesday someone not us goes and picks out all our groceries and they show up at our apartment door that afternoon where the driver unloads his bins right into our kitchen.
All this for $5 each time. Which they are refunding every trip for the first 90 days.
I’m loving it.
Except! The image I gave Dave of having to push a grocery cart through the snow and slush every week has ceased to be a threat so I may have a harder time persuading him he doesn’t really want to stay here forever. Oops!

ps. Yes, that fireplace is in our living room.
WOW…now that is a deal! I would love for someone to do my shopping. I know I would save money…not do any impulse buying. Also, you are having some COLD weather there!
Snow or no snow, I can’t believe Dave likes those temperatures! My hands ache just thinking about them. I have always enjoyed grocery shopping since I was a kid, but having it delivered in those temperatures is a definite plus. 🙂
I agree with Marsha in that you’re probably saving a ton of money. I can’t count the times I’ve gone to the store for one or two items and ended up with a shopping cart full of groceries.
Our current outside temp has dropped to 73. The air conditioner is set at 77. When it comes on and it still is I think the wind chill from it is possibly the same as your outside temperature. So I know what your feeling and hopefully for you it is only temporary.
One of my greatest joys in life is grocery shopping. I love going into a beautiful clean produce section and smelling the bakery smells. But with weather like that, delivery might even look good to me.
