I have a bag I carry stuff in. It converts from a shoulder bag to a back pack but I wear it on my back most of the time to keep my hands free. It is big enough to carry my iPad inside. It doubles as my bug-out bag so it has a lot of emergency supplies in it like three days worth of medicine, some emergency food, a poncho, a whistle, a flashlight, copies of important papers, etc.
I had my annual physical today. Dave said I should put the bag on the scale. Today in additional to its normal stuff it had a full water bottle in it (I normally don’t carry my beverage IN my bag) along with a few things like my phone that normally reside in my pockets. It weighed 6.4 pounds. It doubles as my weightlifting program. 🙂

The only problem is you need two of those – one for each side so you don’t get all lopsided looking. Or one for the front and one for the back so you don’t fall over backwards. lol
I’m with Sandie — gotta keep yourself balanced!
On the flip side — be thankful you weren’t a photographer. I’m accustomed to dragging all sorts of stuff around with me, on shoulders, on a hip belt, over my neck on a strap. I’m surprised I got to this age without looking a cripple.
Cheers,
P
Hahahaha…I need to try your method of exercise.
Love this! I have two bags — one for essentials and one for electronics. Both are always loaded and ready to go out the door. Together they probably weigh 6 pounds but too much for my shoulders so I split them up 🙂 I can carry them one at a time to the truck if I need to.
LOL!
my bag weighs about that. especially with my water bottle in it. i take my own bottle of water to the movies. probably breaking a law there. but que sera. it’s in the bag. it goes where i go.
no wonder one shoulder looks lower than the other! lol.
i have a whole new attitude about it now that i know it is my “workout!” hahahaha. thanks!
