Spring?

Sunday, March 30th, noon, 51 degrees with a forecast high of 60. We all know what that means.

Road trip!

Only a half hour drive south but a much needed trip for many reasons. One is just to get outside. One is to get the winter kinks out of my RV.  And one is to go here.

Rv wash

The Sandcastle took a shower today.

Dakotah Meadows at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake is one of the few RV parks in Minnesota that stays open year around. And this self-serve RV wash is one of the amenities available there.

Oh, it is so nice to get rid of all that winter grunge.

Of course, tomorrow’s forecast is for rain and snow.

Linda

  1. Ah, Spring! I’ve been getting ready to get out and start my own Rv maintenance! I’ve been wanting to really give our Journey a good scrubbing and polish. No easy self-serve RV wash here but I’ve got a hose here at the compound and an extendable handle for my scrub brush and my extendable ladder so I’m almost ready to go. All I need now is enough dry weather to feel like DOING it!

  2. A casino has a car wash? Never heard of that.

Glad you were able to enjoy the outdoors. Suppose to be 60 here today. If it isn’t, some weatherman’s head is going to roll.

  3. Sounds like you have a little hitch itch. I don’t blame you for that. If you get it clean and it snows, then you have an excuse to go out again.

  4. Sometimes any outing is a wonderful thing. Even to a rig wash. And that must mean that the roads were good enough to get there. I’m trying to find all the good things about Spring for you. At least for a day or two. Still beautiful here in the desert.

  5. LOLOL.
    well.
    as they say…
    one day at a time.
except it would be nice to get more than one in a row! i mean…
    you know.
    without the snow!
    xo

  6. Yay – road trip! Glad you saw some nice weather over the weekend.

It’s nice here in NC too, but pollen is starting to fall. I’ve never had problems with allergies until now and I’m hoping it’s not a bad spring of pollen…although, as long as we have warm weather – after this last winter I will take the allergies over freezing temps!
