I rarely post anything political but I’m pretty fed up with the current wrangling. I think Trump should not be paid for any of the shutdown time since he is, apparently, non-essential personnel.

I am so sick of both sides of this mess. I just wish we had some grownups in DC. B to t so such luck.
President Trump has never taken a salary for being President.
He donates it all to non-profits.
And….
Since most of the WH staff is furloughed, President Trump himself paid for the food for the event tonight hosting the college football champs, the Clemson Tigers.

I totally agree that this is really a mess. Several of the Republican congress members are forgoing their salary during this shutdown. I think that all of the people crossing after processing are released, they should be bused to Sacramento California so that the sanctuary state can take care of them.
all through the election it was told to us that “Mexico is going to pay for the WALL.”
and now it’s all the Democrats’ fault. I’m neither Democrat nor Republican.
but it’s interesting to me how blame is spread around as it suits whomever is in the hot seat.

He shouldn’t be paid because he said he would own this shut down. He is such a jerk and is so bad for this country.
