A friend sent me this today:
I Wear My Mask for Three Reasons
- HUMILITY: I don’t know if I have COVID… people can spread the disease before they have symptoms.
- KINDNESS: I don’t know if the person I am near has a child battling cancer, or cares for their elderly mom. While I might be fine, they might not.
- COMMUNITY: I want my community to thrive, businesses to stay open, employees to stay healthy. Keeping a lid on COVID helps us all.
Dave and I are fully vaccinated but still wearing our masks.
TTYL,
Linda
Love this. Jim and I are both vaccinated and wear masks.
simple KINDNESS! thinking of others.
these are 3 of the best reasons of all.
why is it so hard for people?
thanks for spreading the word. XO
agree with tammy – why is so hard. And I’m sad to see in some countries it’s spreading yet again – our closest neighbour Australia is struggling and as I recently heard, each state (there are 7) are either opening up or closing in. Whereas here in New Zealand we are still in the lucky mode, masks are required but only for certain reasons…all our cases are (returning travellers) in the gov’t managed quarantine places, where the minimum stay is 14 days if you don’t bring the virus with you.
