Lump in Throat, Part 2

They did an ultrasound of Dave’s throat this afternoon. The tech gave no sign of finding or not finding anything. So now we wait for the radiologist to read the test then call Dave’s doctor. Then we wait for the doctor to call Dave. We get to do that waiting at home. More waiting room.

TTYL,

Linda

  1. That wait. I hate it. You feel like you can’t breathe properly because you’re always holding your breath. Everything is on hold. Life, is on hold.

People have their ways of getting through the days of wait. Walking. Meditation. Work. Excercise. Sleep. Whatever. I’m afraid I was a zombie at work and everything else. Couldn’t focus.

Surround yourselves with the love and support of family and friends.

I wish only for the best outcome for you both.

  2. I hate that!! I would have been full questions while he was doing his job. Waiting is the worst job of all because our minds tend to dwell on the difficult conclusions and not the most logical ones. Keep us posted.

  3. The waiting just about did me in. I told Jim I didn’t want to do any more of it. But I don’t think he was listening to me. We’re waiting with you. Keep us posted.

  4. I agree waiting is not easy. Best wishes for a positive news.
