Driving Home, Done

We are home.

We left the motel this morning with the snow on the ground that fell yesterday and we had snow on the ground all the rest of the way home but none fell directly on us as we traveled.

But, the high temperature we saw today was 7°. Nothing like the cold I complained of in Arizona.

So cold here, we didn’t bring in much more from the van than we’ve been bringing into motels along the way.

But the forecast is for much warmer here tomorrow so the unpacking will get done.

And we will retrieve our car from the airport where Dave left it nearly two weeks ago.

And we will figure out where we are going to park the van over the winter.

And we will relearn how to live together.

And life will be good.

TTYL,

Linda

  1. ah, safe and sound … and after a bazillion years together … I’m sure you and Dave will have the living arrangements down pat in a night or so…. 😉

It’s below freezing here .. which with our humidity makes it bone chillin … just plain cold!

Well? it’ll be interesting to see what you post … it’ll all be good .. you’re correct

  2. Yippee. So glad to hear you are home safe. Now you can blog about the struggles of learning to compromise again. Love it.

  3. Glad you made it safe. Stay warm and get yourself well. Will miss you at Emerald Cove and of course at Q.

  4. Glad you made it home safely.

Thinking about 7 degree weather is making these 20 degree temps feel a little warmer!

  5. i have the strangest feeling i have just finished reading a wonderful novel!
bless you dear little rv braveheart.
i’m thinking your adventures may be just beginning! ♥

  6. Welcome home. Sit back and relax for a spell. You are in no hurry to do anything. Just regroup, start feeling more better, and move on. It will all be good.

  7. It’s funny how a short time apart, even after many years together, is long enough to fall slightly out of sync with one another.

I’m glad you’re home. Now if you can just stay warm! I saw on TWC that Minneapolis closed schools for the first time in 17 years. Milwaukeans do it pretty much every year at LEAST once… Y’all are a hardy breed up there!!!!!

    Cheers,
    Peter
