Dizzy Dame part 2

On Friday the doctor here recommended I cut one of my blood pressure pills in half.

So I did that Saturday, Sunday, and this morning.

Then I went to the nurse to get a new reading.

112/70.

The  nurse said we might need to reduce it more. She said that often happens at about 20 lbs loss.

Then I went to a morning stretch class and still got a little dizzy.

She may be right.

Which shouldn’t surprise me since she has been working here about 30 years so well knows what the trends are when it comes to medicine and weight loss.

Wouln’t it be wonderful if I get off all meds by the time I leave mid-March?

TTYL,

Linda

  1. 112/70. and they want it LOWER???
i’m sorry. but that sounds plenty low enough to me.
you can also feel dizzy when it’s too low!
    but
as you say… you have to trust or hope they know what they’re doing after 30 years.
    still. every body is different.
    be careful anyway!
my grandmother passed out once because hers got too low.
don’t mean to be a wet blanket. LOLOL.
just care for you so much. xo

  2. Yeah, gotta be careful. My BP after my heart attack was so low I think my heart only beat once or twice a week. I got off that stuff. The medical bp standards are so low nowadays no wonder folks are feeling poorly. Doctors are good but you also have to take responsibility for how a medication is making you feel, also. Sounds like you’re doing a great job and I’m so proud of you. Keep up the good work. Maybe you can get back into rving as your health improves…fingers Xd.

  3. I’m thinking the nurse means to reduce the blood pressure medicine and not necessarily your blood pressure. Is that right? Whatever it means you’re doing a wonderful job. Congratulations and Good Job!

  4. I agree with Jeri – they want to reduce your medication even more if you keep doing so good. Way to go girl. Keep it up.

  5. I agree with Jeri and Sandi. Keep up the good work. Maybe you will get off the blood pressure meds altogether.
