All my family and friends in Minnesota are going to laugh at this but I’m in North Carolina and this is very cold for here.
It was 11 degrees here when I got up at 7:30 am.
And the predicted high for today is 27 degrees.
That’s below freezing folks.
Yesterday, it rained a bit and people were watching closely to see if it turned into snow.
Sure glad I brought my hat and gloves.
Now if they would just heat the main building so we didn’t need to wear them inside.
I wonder if they think of shivering as exercise?
TTYL,
Linda
It is cold everywhere. We left Columbus, NM, a day early because of low temps and they were calling for freezing rain and ice. Yuck!
all through the south! COLD!
here it’s the wind that makes the wind chill on your skin so dangerous.
always the wind.
last night it dropped to 8.
but then… in a few days back into the 30’s. so one can’t complain too much!
but… no heat in the building! at the prices they charge! c’mon!
or then… maybe it IS part of the exercise program. LOLOL.
proof that you always see the brighter side of things. kudos to you! xo♥
I think shivering must use up more calories. 🙂
Keeping your place a bit cooler is good for your health, IMO.
I won’t tell you it was a beautiful day in Arizona today. I just won’t tell you that.
May be a couple of days before you get any warmer weather so shiver away those calories.
Linda, I just joined your blog, so glad to read of your adventures.
I had a Sportsmobile in 2008 and had to sell because my life changed in a big way.
It’s about to change again and I see your van for sale on the Sportsmobile web site.
Would love to contact you about your van.
Stay warm on the east coast.
Best, Joanna
