Staying In

I’m still in Austin and am staying home today.

I have moved to an RV park with full hookups. It is hot and I need my air conditioning.

I keep finding more things I want Sportsmobile to do for me so decided I better stay here.

Dave and I finished setting up my rig at almost midnight last night then we said goodbye. He headed back to the motel for one more night then off to Minneapolis this morning.

I put away only my refrigerated foods from the grocery shopping then went to bed. Which made this morning challenging as all my counter top was covered. So I had cheese, grapes, and nuts for breakfast. Very tasty.

Now the groceries are in the pantry so I can begin to function normally in here.

It will be interesting to discover what my new normal will be.

TTYL,

Linda

  1. Settling in is always hard. When we switched from the MH to the fiver, it took me forever to get everything put away and arranged and then remember what I did with it. Even in your small space, it’s the same thing.

  2. Linda,

I’m happy that Dave came down with you to help you get setup with your new RV.
Keep updating us on your Blog so we know how things are going and what new adventures
    you are having. Keep Safe

Could you email me Dave phone number?

  3. will dave then re-join you in the summer and you two will go exploring/traveling?
or does it mean you will go back and summer in your apartment in minnesota?
either way . . . a neat way to live!!!!
would love to see some more pictures.

  4. Linda,
Congradulations on the new rig. You all really did a nice design job for a single Escapee. I noticed you have a “Travel Scoot” and am very interested in how it works for you. Jan will need one as we begin to use our motorhome more (degenerative spine diease). The Scoot is the only powered unit I have been able to find that is so compact and light weight – should fit in our towed just fine. How is its capabilities and range? How about the batteries? Any suggestions? Appreciate your opinion.

    Jim & Jan
